About The Role

We have a very exciting opportunity for a an Assistant Project Manager to join our global optical networks division. Working with world-class clients you will be a part of the team delivering next-generation upgrades and modifications to enhance technology and connectivity of communications networks across the globe.


 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following:

  • The ideal Assistant Project Manager will work closely with project managers and resource teams to deliver complex technical projects. Support all elements of project reporting, scheduling and updates to systems, tools and reports.
  • Assist with the execution of project periodic/weekly progress reports
  • Assist with the execution of project invoices, forecasts, and change control.
  • Assist with the execution of project risk and issue registers.
  • Assist with the execution of project programmes, materials requests and purchase orders.

Attend internal and external meetings, take minutes and distribute accordingly

 

The above list is not exhaustive, and you will occasionally be asked to undertake additional duties where it is reasonable and appropriate.

Desirable Attributes & Skills

  • Solid technology background across relevant domains (Optical, Ethernet, Wireless Infrastructure) or exceptional field management skills with basic technical knowledge set.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Subsea, Wireless or Terrestrial telecommunications background desirable.
  • A willingness to undertake continual improvement and development through the working career.
  • A strong desire to foster close knit high performing project teams
  • Willing to put in extra effort and maintain performance through challenging periods
  • Willing to attend site meetings/visits, which may result in overnight stops

Monday to Friday, Office based position.
