About The Role

As Talent Business Partner, you will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies as part of the end to end management of recruitment and onboarding.

In addition, you will have responsibility for the talent pipeline including graduate and apprenticeships schemes and line management of the Talent Coordinator.


 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following:

Recruitment

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Create job postings that accurately reflect the requirements of the position.
  • Screen CVs to identify qualified candidates.
  • Perform candidate interviews to assess their qualifications and fit for the position.
  • Negotiate job offers with selected candidates.
  • Onboard new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Develop employer branding strategies that attract top talent.
  • Communicate with hiring managers, HR business partners, external contacts, candidates, and prospects to ensure a positive client and candidate experience.
  • Management of our ATS system.
  • Providing recruitment metrics and running recruitment related reports.
  • Manage the recruitment agencies supporting the business in placing job roles for allocation.  In conjunction with the Group Head of People, manage and set up review meetings against agrees SLA’s.
  • Providing market intelligence surrounding market rates and packages for similar positions in the form of a quarterly benchmarking report and as part of establishing the hiring manager’s ‘criteria for hire’ pack.
  • Record and report diversity KPI’s for measurement against group Corporate & Social Responsibility objectives.
  • Maintain all candidate data in accordance with the group data protection policies.
  • Utilising LinkedIn, job boards, talents pools, social media and other innovative attraction methods to source and engage candidates.
  • Deliver and maintain an agreed Graduate scheme in line with the business’s succession plan. Driving improvements/lessons learned throughout the programme.
  • Build relationships with university career departments and colleges to raise our profile and attract new talent.
  • Managed a pre agreed advertising budget.
  • Line management of the Talent Coordinator.
  • Travel between sites when required.

Training

Duties will include:

  • Line management of the Training Coordinator who ensures that all competency records for the group are kept up to date.
  • Maintaining the Apprenticeship Levy and processing Apprenticeship applications.
  • Maintaining the Armed Forces Covenant Scheme accreditation.

Essential:

  • IT skills, strong communicator, MS Office
  • REC of equivalent qualification
  • Min 3 years in a recruitment consultants roles
  • Strong communicator and sales persons
  • Ability to manage own work load
  • Applicant tracking experience
  • Line management experience

Desirable:

  • BA in HR or equivalent
  • REC Level 3 Diploma
  • GDPR training

Schedule

Monday to Friday, Office based position.
