About The Role

We have a new opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our team on a 3 month fixed term contract.

 


As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following;

 

  • Receive and control deliveries.
  • Receive and control collections.
  • Notify individuals of deliveries received.
  • Ensure deliveries are stored in appropriate areas in the warehouse so they are accessible when needed.
  • Keep a log of all deliveries and collections on a spreadsheet.
  • As and when a stock control system is introduced ensure it is kept up to date.
  • Ensure all deliveries are good received if you have knowledge of the goods.
  • If deliveries are not identifiable contact is to be made with Procurement so we ensure the delivery is good received.
  • Liaise with Project Managers / Supervisors as to chasing updates on collection of deliveries and exstock.
  • Being based in the warehouse you will be responsible for security ensuring all doors are shut and locked when not in use.
  • Ensure no individuals are walking around stores unattended.
  • Ensure all visitors have the correct PPE on when accessing the warehouse.
  • Ensure all visitors follow stores access procedure.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept in a clean and organised way and that no walkways are blocked.
  • Ensure the external yard is kept in a clean and organised way.
  • Work as an effective team member to complete goals.
  • Assist to ensure the best service is given by the Warehouse / Plant department
  • Manage and monitor waste skips at the warehouse.
  • Manage WEEE waste alongside HSEQ department.
  • Ideal candidate to hold FLT ticket on Counter Balance and Aisle Master Machine.
  • Ideal candidate to hold a driving licence.

The above list is not exhaustive; you will occasionally be asked to undertake additional duties where it is reasonable and appropriate.
