Overview 

The Optical Networks department is a fast-paced dynamic team who are engaged in the UK, European and Worldwide projects. Working on Networks for some of the largest global communications companies and OTT content providers you will be actively engaged in all aspects of our project management offering. This is a very hands-on role with an emphasis on the delivery element. Collaboration with other team members is essential to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

Due to the businesses continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Optical Networks Division. As a project manager, you will be accountable for the safe delivery of allocated projects, ensuring that project objectives, agreed timescales and budgets are delivered. Working closely with the Operations Director, you will develop accurate scope, programmes and project controls, whilst managing the day to day execution of the project.

A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to establish effective relationships, manage client reporting including project reports, performance, KPI's and provide accurate daily project performance data to senior managers and directors. Proactively identifying and following up on opportunities to develop new business while contributing toward sharing best practice within the project management organisation. It is essential the requirements of Linbrooke Services HSEQ policies and the Health & Saftey at Work Act are adhered to and encouraged at all times.

Essential:

• Successful relevant experience in deployment project management
• Educated to Degree/HNC/HND or similar standard
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Knowledge of commercial and financial procedures
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management
• Experience of dealing with a client on day to day operational basis
• Ability to multitask
• Experience of performing under pressure

Desirable:

• Subsea and Terrestrial project delivery background
