Linbrooke Sponsors Women In Rail: Break The Bias Event

Linbrooke sponsors Women In Rail: Break The Bias Interactive Event, held on International Women's Day at the Showroom Workstation, a unique cultural hub situated in the heart of Sheffield's Cultural Industries Quarter.

The speakers at the event included inspiration women from the Rail industry: Heather Waugh (Train Driver, Freightliner), Donna Cleaton (Environment, Health & Safety Manager, Arriva Group), Hollie Cregan (Head of Equality, Diversity & FIR, Graham) and Annila Saghir (Train Manager, LNER).

The event highlighted the importance of creating an environment within organisations to combat gender bias across the industry.

At Linbrooke, we champion gender diversity and recognise the benefit of tapping into a wider talent pool and different perspectives that women bring to the industry.

Our Women In Rail steering group, led by Abigail Smith, Helen Devine, Fran Ghazaani, Emily Henman & Nikki Grice Simms, champions women's well-being, diversity, equity, inclusion and equality of female voices at Linbrooke.
