As a business, we have a role to play in the safe yet sustainable prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the care and wellbeing of our colleagues, clients and supply chain. Delivering the right safety and wellbeing culture is mission-critical for our business.
We are currently operating 'business as usual'. In these uncertain times, we will do all we can to deliver 24/7 support for our clients to keep critical UK infrastructure moving.
Our offices have been modified and adapted to create COVID-19 safe working environment for people who can't work from home, and we have introduced stringent cleaning of our offices. We continue to monitor each site with close communication and adherence to our client's and UK government policies.
We will continue to update our site safety work practices as and when the UK government announces new precautionary measures. Click here to download our COVID worksite safety measures
As part of our continued journey to improve safety culture at Linbrooke, in September, we ran a company-wide safety climate survey for the first time. The response rate was an encouraging 60% of all staff, and the responses were equally as optimistic. Overall we were around the industry average from a benchmarking perspective but with much higher than the average result on company commitment to health & safety and staff behaviours at work. As ever there are always learning points so as part of our continual improvement, we are taking the areas with unfavourable responses seriously and have an action plan to address those areas.
