Our Telecoms and E&P group have a proven record for project delivery from large to small multi/single discipline projects, providing engineering support and assurance on numerous regional and national rail frameworks throughout the UK. Working with the Head of Project Engineering, we have a team of experienced, flexible and multiskilled engineers with the right-first-time approach to delivery on an exciting and challenging portfolio.

Due to continuous growth, Linbrooke Services have an opportunity for an experienced Principal Project Engineer to join our dynamic Project Engineering Division.

As a Principal Project Engineer, acting as either CEM or CRE, you will manage all engineering requirements, ensuring all deliverables have been provided.
You will support and encourage creativity and innovation within the engineering team whilst actively supporting process Improvements within the engineering function.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills as they will develop and maintain effective client and supplier relationships, collaborate with project managers and liaise with clients to establish project requirements.

Leading and coordinating the engineering functions within the project team you will ensure the successful and safe delivery of projects
You will take responsibility for the regular review and implementation of any changes in standards, regulations and legislations, Implementing processes and procedures described within the Linbrooke Services Management system. To meet increased industry demands, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic Project Engineering Division.
You will ensure the successful and safe delivery of engineering projects, acting as a lead point of contact for all engineering functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate confidently and effectively as they will liaise with project managers and clients to establish project requirements.

You will support and encourage creativity and innovation within the engineering team whilst identifying potential changes and overseeing process Improvements within the engineering function. Undertaking the role as CRE, you will lead and coordinate the engineering functions within the project team, you will ensure the successful and safe delivery of projects.

You will take responsibility for ensuring site diaries are collated and all issues are reported and recorded correctly. Identifying project risks and hazards, you will produce relevant risk assessments to ensure risk is brought down to an acceptable level.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will undertake safety and quality inspections and ensure any project-specific requirements are submitted and managed correctly.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to lead by example, supporting and mentoring junior members of the engineering team. As a highly reputable and progressive organisation, Linbrooke Services are in a position of strength, with a robust and growing business. We currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to join the business as the Head of Health & Safety – Rail.

The successful candidate will oversee and manage the Health and Safety, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Rail. Undertaking investigations of accidents and near misses, you will identify hazards and measures to prevent recurrence and continually improve safety performance. Ensuring through effective management that investigations are transparent and fair, you will confidently make suitable recommendations where necessary to ensure future prevention.

The Head of Health & safety Rail will lead by controlling, directing and managing safety assurance and compliance, enabling continuous improvement in rail operational safety performance. You will maintain an ongoing awareness of Safety and Health legislation and proposed legislation, codes of practice, and activity in the Safety and Health at all times.

You will demonstrate a strong ability to influence management and employees regarding all Health, Safety and Environmental issues and risks, whilst overseeing the production and delivery of site briefing material.

You will foster strong relationships, communicating confidently with our leading clients on changes within Linbrooke Services and liaise with Operations Managers to ensure that inductions, training and appropriate information is given to relevant employees and contractors.

Providing guidance to operations, helping in the preparation of contract-specific work Plans and task briefings, you will develop Risk Assessments to identify and advise on adequate control measures to ensure identified risks are brought down to an acceptable level.

You will also work collaboratively with the companies environment manager and business systems manager.

Overview 

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Rail E&P Supervisor to join our Construction Telecoms and E&P department within Linbrooke Rail division.

As an E&P Supervisor, you will be responsible for the management of employees on site, ensuring productivity and quality of installation of assets on a wide range of rail projects. You will undertake installation, testing and safety activities as required. Maintaining records, carrying out site inspections and providing incident and close call reports, you will be responsible for the safety of both Linbrooke employees, clients and members of the public who come into contact with our site operations. All these outlined skills will be built on a strong underlying technical knowledge of the electrical discipline.

A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the types of permits and materials required for relevant tasks. You will have the ability to identify, raise and communicate potential design changes, providing alternatives where needed.

It is essential the E&P Supervisor complies with and can communicate the requirements of Linbrooke Services QUENSH (HSEQ) policies and in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act.

As part of the Construction discipline, you will be a key element in ultimately delivering complex solutions in a demanding and dynamic engineering environment. The E&P team forms an essential part of this construction function, along with telecommunications, giving a full turnkey solution to the customer. Construction functions complement in house design and project functions to develop the highest quality and efficient engineering solutions that are expected within the industry. To be successful as part of this team you will need an excellent underlying engineering base onto which you will be expected to add bespoke industry expertise and further technical knowledge.

To meet increased business and industry demands, we are seeking to fulfil an exciting vacancy for an experienced electrician to join the Rail E&P Construction division. As an E&P Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing and other maintenance activities as required, whilst carrying out surveying and monitoring activities. This position will suit a highly motivated person who is able to demonstrate a clear understanding as tasks must be completed within the required timescales. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work confidently under their own initiative as they will identify any changes to planned individual tasks and raise them as to where necessary. You will show a strong understanding of the permits required for types of work and which materials are required to suit tasks. If successful, you will adhere to the requirements of Linbrooke Services HSEQ policies and the health & safety at work act are adhered to and encouraged at all times, whilst ensuring site rules are followed.
