Linbrooke were selected to provide compliant coverage of IP closed-circuit television (CCTV), public address voice alarm (PAVA), mobility assistance phones, customer information systems (CIS) and local station radio coverage network.
Project Overview
Paddington station is one of Network Rail's London based major stations and provides an important passenger transfer hub between Crossrail, London Underground, Heathrow Express and GWR services.
The designated Urban Realm space in this station is a public space adjacent to Eastbourne terrace that will provide a transport interchange area between the existing Network Rail station and the new Crossrail station.
This area will receive the same benefits of travel information and security as provided within the environs of Paddington station. Network Rail recommended Linbrooke to Crossrail and were subsequently selected to deliver this package of work following successful rollout and renewal, during a five year period, of the entire new SISS equipment comprising of CCTV, PAVA, CIS within Paddington station.
